About Falls View Resort Spa

Falls View Resort Spa is an online magazine about slowing down. We write about rest and recovery, the old and lovely habits of sauna and bathing, simple mindfulness, and the everyday health questions that come up between appointments. Everything here is free to read, and there is nothing to buy, book or sign up for.

What you will find here

Our articles fall into five shelves. Health & Wellness covers sleep, stress, movement and the body in plain language. Spa & Sauna is about heat, water and skin, from using a sauna safely to a facial at your own sink. Mindfulness gathers breathing, meditation and evening routines. Lifestyle looks at the habits and choices around the edges of wellbeing, and Guides & Tips holds practical explainers for when you want a clear set of steps.

We like topics that you can try the same evening. A good article, for us, ends with something small and doable: three slow breaths, a cooler bedroom, ten minutes on a mat. If you are new, our beginner's meditation guide is a gentle place to start.

Who writes it

We are a small team of writers who sign our work with pen names. Isidora edits and decides what we cover next. Brannoc writes about sleep, breathing and quiet evenings. Quilla looks after the sauna, bathing and skin pages. Sabela reads every piece a second time, checks the wording against reliable public guidance and handles corrections.

None of us is a doctor, nurse, therapist or other licensed professional, and we never write as if we were. Our job is to explain, to describe common experience honestly and to point you towards the right person when a question goes beyond what a magazine can answer.

How we approach health topics

Wellness writing can drift into big promises. We try hard to avoid that. You will not find invented statistics, miracle claims or secret routines here. When research on a subject is still developing, we say so. When something carries real risks, such as heat for people with heart problems or new movement during pregnancy, the caution sits in the main text, not in small print. Our page on reading health advice here explains this in more detail.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell products or rank brands, and a brand that appears in a post is not one we vouch for.
  • We do not offer treatments, sessions or personal health advice.
  • We do not track visitors with analytics or advertising scripts.
  • We do not publish reader stories without clear permission.

Staying current

Older articles are revisited when guidance shifts or when a reader points out something unclear. If you spot a mistake, the steps on When Something Is Wrong show how to tell us and what happens next. For anything else, from topic ideas to a kind word, our Write to Us page has the details.

Thank you for reading. We hope you leave each page a little more rested than you arrived.
